Hi, I’m Michelle.
Expert WordPress Web Designer & Developer.
Building transformative website designs and long-lasting, happy client relationships is what I Iove.
Primarily, I work with established service businesses that are looking to find new clients and grow their business. How? By working with them collaboratively to find clarity around their/your business’s marketing goals and what their/your customers need and want. Then combine that with clean, targeted design.
I’ve proudly worked with prestigious companies such as Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, and others like them. But I also proudly collaborate with small-but-mighty companies who serve with heart.
I’m a pro at taking scattered, seemingly all-over-the-place ideas, and turning them into gorgeous creative solutions. Professional, modern sites that convert.
It would be my honor to make that happen for you, too.
My clients are mostly small business owners and marketers hailing from a range of industries—legal, restaurants, non-profits and local contractors.
And they all have one thing in common: they’re ready for smart, uncluttered digital design that elevates their business into its next evolution of growth.
Together, we’ll create unforgettable, targeted aesthetics that are on point, on time, and on budget every time.
This is my story.
Born and raised in Houston, TX I fell in love with design and art at an early age and was deeply inspired by Peter Max (yes, peace, love man). My mom went to design school and encouraged my sisters and I in our creative outlets.
My dad was a mechanical engineer. He decided his 3 daughters needed to learn all about computers. He said it was the coming age. He bought us a double floppy computer and made me learn DOS. YIKES! Boy, was I glad when I was learning code years later!
I had that Entrepreneurial Spirit.
I come from a long line of Entrepreneurs. So after years of working in the corporate world and learning much about project management, I started a design business creating enamel jewelry, had a staff, grew, worked WAY too many hours and burned out. But I learned a lot about being a small business owner and wearing ALL the hats. That’s why I NEVER talk my client into marketing solutions that won’t work for them.
Along the way I moved to Colorado as it had long been a place my family and I loved. Then one day I woke up and shut down my studio. What to do now? My dad suggested since I was an artist and a computer nerd that I should go to school and become a web designer. WOW! So, that’s what I did (yep, I’m a certified webmaster). While going to school I worked for other companies, building their websites and learning more along the way.
I’m a one-woman shop who established Bracewell Web Works in 2000 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Which brings us to the here & now.
Because the web is constantly changing, I believe it’s important to stay on top of the latest in coding, design, online marketing trends and especially the latest in SEO (search engine optimization). So I invest a lot of time and money to stay educated in my field and make sure my clients get the best there is.
In my spare time I love spending time with my two rescue dogs, gardening and creating unique art from recycled and found objects as well as other fun creations in my studio.

The Bracewell
Difference is as simple
as 1, 2, 3.
1
Style & Substance
I’m not only a web designer, but a marketing designer. I approach every project by focusing on my clients website marketing problems and finding solutions as well as making it look beautiful.
2
Getting to Know You
I take the time to get to know my client’s business and build long lasting relationships. I’m proud to be able to say I’ve have some clients that have been working with me for over 10 years.
3
I Have Your Back
I’m the main point person and work on my client’s projects directly – no assigning jobs to a junior designer or worse, outsourcing to an overseas vendor. On very large projects I work with a hand-picked team of the best talent to fit the needs of my clients unique project requirements.
